British Encoder Products Company Inc. (BEPC) knows your privacy is important.  BEPC has adopted this Privacy Policy to better serve those who are concerned with how their Personally Identifiable Information (PII) might be used online.  PII is information that can be used on its own, or in combination with other information, to identify, locate or contact a single person, or identify an individual in context.  Please read our policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect and otherwise handle your PII.

What personal information do we collect from visitors to our website?

When filling out the forms on our site you may be asked to provide your Company name, email address, mailing address, phone number or other details in order to help with your experience.

When is information collected?

We collect information when you place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form or enter information on our site. This data is then processed onto our CRM system, and periodically backed up onto a secure remote server.
 
Your information will only ever be used for legitimate business purposes. We will not transmit your information to other parties unless it is required to fulfil contracted works.  All data disclosures will only be relevant to the particular requirements of the sales order. This information will be handled in accordance with the guidelines of the EU GDPR and again will only be relevant to the requirements of providing our services to our customers.

We use the information collected during your time on our site in the following ways:

BEPc is committed to providing you with control on how your data is used and processed. You can review, edit or delete your personal information at no cost by contacting us directly at sales@encoder.co.uk or by telephone/fax/Postal communication to the contact details provided in the section “Contact Us”. We may ask for you to verify your identity before responding to the requests.

Your rights concerning your personal information/data are as follows:

  • you can enquire about the personal information we hold about you and we will inform you.
  • you can request your personal information is corrected/changed and we will update the details on our system and inform you when it is done.
  • you can object to your data being processed and we will stop processing your data once no longer required for contract sales, support or legal obligations.
  • you can object to receiving direct marketing communications from us and we will stop all marketing communications by channel (email, post, telephone or fax). In addition, any direct marketing communications you receive from us will always include a clear, simple method to 'opt-out'.
  • you can ask for your personal information to be deleted, once no longer required for contract sales, support or legal obligations, which we will complete bar keeping the minimal personal details to ensure that we do not contact you again.
